Gage Larvadaien named player of the year by CCS

The honors continue to come in for Riverside all-purpose player Gage Larvadain. This week the senior quarterback/running back/receiver/defensive back was named Player of the Year by the New Orleans website Crescent City Sports.

Gage scored 33 touchdowns this season for the 7-3 Rebels. As quarterback he completed 40 of 70 passes for 547 yards and 4 touchdowns. He also ran 129 times for 1,421 yards and 23 touchdowns. In addition, he also caught 19 passes for 430 yards and 6 touchdowns. On defense he had 30 tackles and 1 interception.

He was named the District 9-1A MVP earlier this month and was the AllState Sugar Bowl Athlete of the Month in October.
