Mardi Gras may have been canceled due to Covid-19, but the annual Riverside Academy Krewe Bord de L’eau ball will go on — just a little later than usual.

Normally held right before Mardi Gras, this year’s tableau will be held this weekend in the school’s gymnasium. With the theme “Imagination,” the Junior Court will be presented on Friday. The Senior Court will be presented on Saturday. Participants raised more than $66,000 for the school.

Senior Court King Mason Meyer and Queen Laken Epperly will reign as King Rebel and Queen Dixie XLI.  Joining Meyer and Epperly on the Senior Court are: Prince Robert Wells and Princess Alysa Epperly; First Duke Tyler Palermo and Maid Cara Campbell; Second Duke Thomas Mazzella and Maid Lexie Heltz; Third Duke Andrew Jung and Maid Emily Duhe; Fourth Duke Zach Vicknair and Maid Alyssa Hebert; Fifth Duke Colby Wilson and Maid Monica Boudreaux.

Reigning as King and Queen XLII of the Junior Court will be Ken Catoire and Brynnan Melancon. Their court includes: Prince Pierre Rauch and Princess Kelsey Hoover; First Duke Liam Naquin and Maid Avery Cashio; Third Duke Caden Garcich and Maid Miley Loupe; Fourth Duke Dane Barrao and Maid Kolbi Heltz; Fifth Duke Nathan Walker and Maid Mia Fleetwood.
