Several Rebels qualify for State Track Meet at LSU

Several members of the Riverside Academy track team have qualified to compete in the Louisiana High School Athletic Association’s State Track meet to be held May 6-9 at LSU in Baton Rouge.  They are: The following qualified the state track meet at LSU next week: Laken Audifred, Mia Saijas, Makayah Larose, Myracle Revon, Marne Pierre, Imani Daniel, Imari Daniel, Grace Trepagnier, Gage Larvadain, Elijah Davis, Kelvinte Barber, Chance Jackson, and Andre Murphy.

These athletes qualified for state with their performances at the Regional Track Meet held April 27. At Regionals, Myracle Revon finished third in the high jump; Grace Trepagnier finished third in Javelin; the girls 4×1 meter relay team finished second; the girls 4×4 relay team finished Girls 4×4 relay team finished third; Gage Larvadain finished first in the 400 meters; Elijah Davis finished first in the 100 meters; Kelvinte Barber finished second in the high jump and the boys 4×1 relay team finished third.
