RA Ovations, Riverside Academy’s drama club, finally will present its spring musical this weekend at the St. John Theatre in Reserve. The play opens Thursday, May 6 and runs through Saturday, May 8. Only presale tickets are available through the school office.

Big Fish is a family musical about a father who tells his son fantastic stories that may or may not be true. The production was supposed to be performed in 2020 but was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The cast includes several RA students and a few faculty members. Tyler Palermo portrays the dad, Edward Bloom. Mason Forsythe is the son, Will Bloom. Coach Glenn “Coach Bear” Melville portrays the the Mayor. Mr. Andy DiMaggio portrays Dr. Bennett. The play is directed by Darryl P. Clement.
