The Riverside Academy Lady Rebels continued their winning ways this week with a 3-0 victory over St. Thomas Aquinas on Monday and a huge 3-2 win over St. Martin’s on Tuesday.

The latter win was extra special for the Lady Rebels because they had not defeated the Saints in several recent seasons and because they had to rally to do it. Riverside won the first game 25-19, then dropped the next two 16-25, 22-25. But they managed to come back to win game four, 25-20, then the rubber match, 15-13.

Camryn Loving led the team with 12 kills and 16 digs. Allie Revere served 7 aces and had 5 kills. Myracle Revon had 4 aces and 5 kills.

Against St. Thomas Aquinas, Alysa Epperly had six kills and five digs. Chloe St. Pierre added five kills.

The team now has won four in a row with East Ascension scheduled to visit the Rebel Gym on Wednesday, Sept. 29. The team has scored 34 kills and 19 aces.
