The Riverside Academy volleyball team advanced to the second round of the Division V volleyball playoffs with a three game sweep of Centerville Wednesday afternoon.

The No. 12 seed Lady Rebel dominated the No. 20 Bulldogs in a 25-10, 25-7, 25-9 win. Camryn Loving led RA with 11 kills and Myracle Revon had 10. Myracle also had nine aces.

But the day also was a celebration for Alyssa Epperly, the lone senior on the squad. Before the game, Epperly was honored with gifts and flowers from her coaches and parents, then she scored the first kill of the game and the last. She finished with six kills and four digs.

Now the Lady Rebels will travel to Shreveport to face No. 4 seed Calvary Baptist Friday at 5 p.m.
