Winners of the Christmas door decorating contest announced

Mrs. Epperly’s Polar Express took first place.

For the first time in, well, maybe ever, Riverside Academy held a Christmas door decorating contest for teachers. There were many unique and creative entries from Pre-K3 (which did bulletin boards) to high school, from snow men to trees made out of different materials — and a bear. Entries were judged on creativity, uniqueness and execution. The winners are:

First place — Mrs. Epperly’s Polar Express

Second place — Mrs. Loving’s Plastic Cup Snowman

Third place — Mrs. Duhon’s Bonfire Bulletin Board
