RA Southern Sweethearts takes top spot at State

The Riverside Academy Southern Sweethearts dance team finished first in its division in the Open dance category at the American All-Star Louisiana State Dance/Drill Team Championship held Jan. 16 at the Cajundome in Lafayette. The team also finished second in Division One Pom and fourth in Jazz.

The members of the team are: Ella Champagne, Amiee Duhe, Kaylee Oubre, Christy Louque, Jaycee Bennett, Ariana Matt and Mia Saijas.
