Senior soccer players close season

Nicholas Ellis, left, and Alyssa Haase were the lone seniors on their soccer teams this season.

The Riverside Academy soccer season officially came to a close on Saturday. Both the boys and the girls teams traveled to South Lafourche for the season finale. The girls finished with a 8-0 win; the boys lost.

The Lady Rebels finished their season with a record of  8-7, finishing with back-to-back shut-out wins. The boys finished their season without a win.

Both teams featured only one senior on the squad. Nicholas Ellis has been a member of the Rebels soccer team for 5 years.

Alyssa Haase just joined the Lady Rebels this season after transferring from Lutcher.
