Lady Rebels start season with a pair of wins, pair of HRs

The Riverside Academy Lady Rebels started their season off with a bang, defeating Riverdale 12-1 on Feb. 15 and Vandebilt Catholic 7-5 on Feb. 16.

Junior shortstop Camryn Loving knocked the first home run of the season against Riverdale. Senior catcher Alonah Felton, an Alcorn State signee, hit her first dinger of the year against Vandebilt.

The Lady Rebels take on Zachary at home today at 5 p.m.

Senior catcher Alonah Felton hit her first homer of the season on Wednesday.
