Riverside Academy will hold its spring blood drive on Monday, March 14 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Bloodmobile will be on campus. Healthy individuals  17 years of age or older and weighing at least 110 pounds are encouraged to donate. Students aged 16 who weight at least 130 pounds may donate with parental permission. Seniors will receive a red cord for graduation.

Donors may choose to receive a pair of St. Paddy’s Day socks,  a Healthcare Hero t-shirt, enrollment in the Blood Assurance program, or send a kid with cancer to summer camp. Parents are encouraged to donate as well.

If the school reaches its goal of 25 pints it will receive a $500 scholarship.
