With hard work and determination, the Riverside Academy swim team produced more state qualifiers in their last two meets. On Saturday, Oct. 1 at St. James Aquatics Center in Lutcher one swimmer qualified for state:

MaKayah LaRose — 200 Yard Freestyle

On Saturday, Oct. 8 at Crawfish Aquatics in Baton Rouge three swimmers qualified for state including:

Taylor Duhe —100 Yard Freestyle

MaKayah LaRose — 100 Yard Butterfly

Camryn Loving — 100 Yard Butterfly

Senior Camryn Loving has qualified in five out of eight individual events. Senior MaKayah LaRose  has qualified in all eight out of individual events for the third time, making swim team history. The swimmers next meet will be held Saturday, Oct. 15 at St. James Aquatics Center in Lutcher at 8 a.m.
