The Riverside Wagon comes home from West St. John with a 47-0 victory

The Riverside wagon went to West St. John Friday night and the Rebels came home with a 47-0 victory.  It was the team’s fifth straight win and helped secure its spot at the top of the District 9-1A standings.

Without much resistance from the Rams, Riverside scored six total touchdowns. Quarterback Luke Hymel went 7-of-8 for 100 yards and three touchdowns.  Hymel also did his fair share on the ground with five carries for 61 yards. Elijah “Bill” Davis scored two touchdowns on the ground and finished with 117 yards on six carries., He also had a 12 yard reception that went for a touchdown.

Emmanuel Franklin  had four carries for 69 yards and one touchdown, and also had a 35 yard reception that went for a touchdown.

Cade Middleton, mainly a defensive back for the Rebels, got some action on the offensive side and had two catches for 30 yards and a touchdown. Middleton also set the tone for the Rebels forcing a safety on a punt by West St. John.

The Rebels will take it back back home this week to play against Cohen at 7 p.m.at Mickey Roussel Field in another district game.
