The Riverside Academy swim team is headed to Sulphur to compete in the 2022 LHSAA State Swim Meet to be held Wednesday, Nov. 16 and Thursday, Nov. 17 at the Recreation and Aquatic Center in Sulphur. The Division IV prelims will be held on Wednesday and the finals will be held on Thursday. Throughout the 2022 swim season, the Riverside Academy swim team swam nine meets and produced 12 qualifiers for State.

The following swimmers qualified for State:

Emma Babin — 100 Yard Breaststroke

Courtney Bordelon — 200 Yard Freestyle

Kallie Bourgeois — 200 Yard Freestyle and 100 Yard Freestyle

Corrin Cashio — 100 Yard Backstroke

Taylor Duhe — 100 Yard Backstroke, 100 Yard Breaststroke, and 100 Yard Freestyle

Sofia Galvez — 100 Yard Freestyle and 200 Yard Freestyle

Jackson Kelly — 50 Yard Freestyle

Cami LaRose — 50 Yard Freestyle and 100 Yard Freestyle

MaKayah LaRose — 50 Yard Freestyle, 100 Yard Freestyle, 200 Yard Freestyle, 500 Yard Freestyle, 100 Yard Backstroke, 100 Yard Breaststroke, 100 Yard Butterfly, and 200 Yard IM

Camryn Loving — 50 Yard Freestyle, 100 Yard Freestyle, 200 Yard Freestyle, 100 Yard Breaststroke, 100 Yard Butterfly, and 200 Yard IM

Brennan Maus — 50 Yard Freestyle and 100 Yard Freestyle

Brody Vicknair — 100 Yard Backstroke and 50 Yard Freestyle

Along with the 12 qualifiers, Kasey Bourgeois, Jaci Bordelon, Ariana Matt, Craig Matt, Anna Mistretta, Chloe St. Pierre, and Lea St. Pierre will be swimming in the 200 Freestyle and 400 Freestyle Relays.
