RA announces Students of the Year

Riverside Academy announced its Students of the Year winners on Dec. 5.

Brock St. Amant was the fifth grade winner, Cruz Cambre was the eighth grade winner and Camryn Loving was the 12th grade winner.

The three were selected from a group of nominees based on academic achievement and extracurricular activities. Each candidate had to write an essay,  complete a packet, and be interviewed by a panel of judges.

The fifth grade candidates were Kelsey Hoover, Aubrey Loper, Miley Loupe, John Fernandez, Chase Poche and St. Amant.

The eighth grade candidates were Callie Cassagne, Saylor Deroche, Payton Williams, Brody Vicknair, Wynn Cupit and Cambre.

The 12th grade candidates were Jeremy Jung, Emile Graugnard III and Loving.
