RA girls basketball team wins District 9-1A title

The Lady Rebels basketball team won the District 9-1A title with a 5-0 record.

The Riverside Academy Lady Rebels basketball team won the District 9-1A championship on Friday, Jan. 27 with a 61-23 won over St. Katherine Drexel. The team went undefeated in district play (5-0) and 8-8 in the regular season in Coach Darrion Cook’s first season as head coach. The Lady Rebels will travel to H.L Bourgeois on Wednesday and to Newman on Friday.
