RA girls basketball reaches 2nd round

Myracle Revon, Alainah Felton, and Grace Trepagnier were the three seniors for the 2022-2023 Girls Basketball season.

After a long bus ride to Lena, the girls basketball team’s season ended with a 80-19 loss to No. 2 seed Northwood Lena in the second round of the Division IV select playoffs on Monday, Feb. 20.

The team finished the season 8-15 with a No. 15 seed in the bracket. This was the team’s first time in the second round since 2018 when they reached the semifinals. The Rebels did not make the playoffs in 2022. Northwood Lena went on to beat No. 7 seed Cedar Creek in the quarterfinals on Thursday, Feb. 23.

The girls team retired three seniors this year: Myracle Revon, Alainah Felton, and Grace Trepagnier.

Senior Myracle Revon has been on the team for five years. Revon is on the volleyball, basketball, and track and field teams at RA.
