The Riverside Academy Marching Pride of Riverside spent several days at Universal Studios in Orlando, Fla. recently, but it wasn’t just to ride rides and visit Hogwarts. The band was there to compete in the OrlandoFest band competition. And it was deemed a successful trip after the band took home superior ratings in every category and was the top finisher in the marching band competition.

“The group worked and worked as hard as possible on refining every aspect of our marching,” RA senior drum major Jeremy Jung said. “We went in hoping for the best and preparing for the worst, and we came out on top. That goes to show what we’re capable of.”

The band members did get to enjoy several days at the theme park as well.
