RA students and faculty cheer Lady Rebels to State

The Riverside softball team made its way through cheering students and teachers to board the bus for Sulphur.

The Riverside Academy Lady Rebels got a rousing sendoff from students and faculty Thursday morning as they departed for the LHSAA State Softball Tournament in Sulphur. Riverside, the No. 2 seed, will play No. 3 St. Frederick’s Friday, April 28 at 2:30 p.m. at Frasch Park. A victory would send the team to the state championship game, which will be played on Saturday, April 29 at noon.
