Riverside Academy senior Scott White closed out his track and field career Thursday on a high note, winning the Class 1A boys shot put with a throw of 50 feet, 6.25 inches. White also participated in the discus, but scratched all three throws. White also is the Division III Indoor shot put champion.

Junior Noah Trepagnier finished fourth in the shot put with a throw of 45-9.75. 

Seventh grader Bayli Melancon placed eighth in the high jump with a jump of 4-06. 

The boys 4×200 relay team of Cade Middleton, Hunter Champagne, Elijah “Bill” Davis and Dedric Lastie placed sixth with a time of 1:33.45.  Riverside 14th overall out of 30 teams with 15 points.
