Riverside Academy’s kindergarten and pre-schoolers carried on the tradition of recreating the first Thanksgiving this week. On Thursday the kindergarteners acted out the historic 1621 feast. On Friday it was the pre-K’s turn. After the program, the students were joined by family members for a traditional dinner of turkey, mashed potatoes and corn. Riverside Academy will close for the Thanksgiving holidays from Nov. 17 until Nov. 27.
