It was quite a night for Riverside Academy Friday as the school celebrated its 50th anniversary Homecoming.

The Rebels football team defeated West St. John, 15-14, in the game to improve to 6-1.

Senior football player Gage Larvadain was crowned the Homecoming King and Miss Rio Frazier was crowned Queen.

But the biggest surprise of the night was when principal Mike Coburn made an appearance at the game. Coburn has been battling Covid-19 since late August.
