The Riverside Rebels survived the rain, the mud and St. Edmund’s to take a 38-19 victory Friday night, advancing the team to the second round of the Division IV playoffs. The No. 7 seed Rebels (10-3)  will play at No. 2 Vermillion Catholic next week in the quarterfinals.

Gage Larvadain ran for three touchdowns and threw for two more, one to Nick Washington. Elijah Davis also added a 64-yard touchdown run in the first quarter.

Logan Loving blocked a punt that resulted in a touchdown for Tairyn Lockhart, and Andre Murphy sealed the win with an interception late in the game.
