After Covid forced the cancellation of the annual Allstate Sugar Bowl National Prep Classic basketball tournament,  Riverside decided to step in to fill the void. The Rebels will host a four-day boys basketball tournament in the Riverside gym. The teams competing are St. Thomas, Riverside Academy, Dunham, Ponchatoula, Hannan, Northshore, Edna Karr, Chalmette, Country Day, Sophie B. Wright. The event will start on Wednesday January 6th with Chalmette vs. Hannan at 5:30 and Riverside vs. Sophie B. Wright at 7:00. The finals will be played on Saturday.

Wednesday: Chalmette vs. Hannan, 5:30 p.m.

Riverside vs. Sophie B. Wright, 7 p.m.

Thursday: Chalmette-Hannan winner vs. Ponchatoula, 3:30 p.m.

Dunham vs. Edna Karr, 5 p.m.

Northshore vs. Riverside-Sophie B. Wright winner, 6:30 p.m.

St. Thomas More vs. Country Day, 8:30 p.m.

Friday:       Game 7, 5:30 p.m.

Game 8, 7 p.m.

Saturday: Game 9, 5:30 p.m.

Game 10, 7 p.m.
