After the finale aired on Monday, May 11, Keyla’s mother posted an emotional statement on Facebook expressing disappointment over the voting results.
“My baby was robbed. She did not fail. She was robbed I’m sorry I’m gonna say it!!” Katja Richardson wrote.
The reaction came shortly after host Ryan Seacrest announced that Keyla had finished in third place during the live finale episode.
