A fatal crash involving an off-road motorcycle claimed the life of a Georgia man in St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, on May 15, 2026. Louisiana State Police are investigating the circumstances of the two-vehicle collision, which occurred on U.S. Highway 190 near LA Highway 1077.
Off-Road Motorcycle Crash in St. Tammany Parish Kills Georgia Man
Troopers with Louisiana State Police Troop L responded to a crash shortly after 3 p.m. on May 15.
Authorities identified the victim as Muhammad Connor, 26, from Snellville, Georgia. Connor was riding a 2007 KTM off-road motorcycle eastbound on the shoulder of U.S. Highway 190 when the collision occurred.
A 2006 Toyota Tacoma, also traveling east, was attempting to turn right into a private driveway at the time. For reasons still under investigation, Connor’s motorcycle struck the right side of the Tacoma.
Victim Not Wearing Helmet
Troopers confirmed that Connor was not wearing a helmet during the crash.
He sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Toyota Tacoma, who was properly restrained, was not injured in the incident.
Investigation Underway
Authorities have not yet determined whether impairment played a role in the crash.
Routine toxicology samples will be obtained and submitted for analysis as part of the ongoing investigation.
Troopers continue to investigate the factors leading to the collision, including traffic conditions and the sequence of events.
