A Texas man has been arrested for allegedly threatening to kill Erika Kirk, the wife of slain activist Charlie Kirk, at a Turning Point USA event in San Antonio.
Texas Man Arrested for Threatening Erika Kirk
Jacob Wenske, 26, reportedly sent an email to Turning Point USA with violent threats, writing, “Death to Erika Kirk and every single speaker there!” He allegedly added, “Every Christian nationalist shall perish in the bombing that will take place at every single Turning Point rally and event,” according to an arrest affidavit obtained by the San Antonio Express-News.
Threats on Social Media and Event Plans
Authorities say Wenske also posted threats on a Facebook post promoting Turning Point’s Women’s Leadership Summit, scheduled for June 5–7 at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter. Erika Kirk, who became chairwoman and CEO of Turning Point after Charlie Kirk was killed in September 2025, was set to appear at the summit.
“I know exactly where to bomb,” Wenske allegedly said in his posts. “I can’t wait to be the valet for her escort.” Police noted that Wenske had previously worked for a parking management company, giving him experience with valet service at local hotels and events. This made authorities believe his threats were serious and specific.
Evidence and Arrest
A review of Wenske’s Facebook account reportedly showed ongoing violent hostility toward Turning Point members and supporters. The posts included approval of violence, encouragement of harm toward opponents, and repeated aggressive messages across public threads.
Police confirmed the account belonged to Wenske using subscriber records, a registered email, a linked phone number, and IP address information.
Wenske was arrested this week and booked into Bexar County Jail on two counts of making a terroristic threat causing public fear of serious bodily injury. He faces up to 10 years in prison and is being held on $120,000 bail.
This case highlights the growing concern over threats against public figures and the importance of authorities taking online threats seriously to protect potential victims.
