A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting outside nightclubs in Thibodaux, Louisiana.

Arrest and Charges

Daronti Wesley was taken into custody on May 30 by the Gonzales Police Department. He has been charged with attempted first-degree murder, 10 counts of aggravated second-degree battery, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and aggravated criminal damage to property.

The Shooting Incident

The shooting occurred on May 24 outside two nightclubs near the intersection of East 11th Street and Narrow Street. Seven people were shot, and several others were injured during the incident.

Arrest Details

Wesley barricaded himself inside the Magnolia Crossing Apartments before his arrest. Police negotiated with him, and he eventually surrendered peacefully.
