Two men from Rapides Parish were arrested this week following an investigation by the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, according to the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office.
Arrests and Charges
Joshua White, 47, of Ball, was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center on May 27, 2026, at 8:39 p.m. He faces charges including negligent homicide, obstruction of justice through evidence tampering, filing or maintaining false public records, and careless operation of a vehicle. His total bond was set at $110,000, and he was released the following day on May 28 at 11:37 a.m.
Terry Dale Gaspard Jr., 46, of Pineville, was also booked on May 27, 2026, at 8:07 p.m. He was charged with obstruction of justice through evidence tampering and filing or maintaining false public records. His bond was set at $10,000, and he was released on May 28 at 10:53 a.m.
Investigation
Both arrests were made by the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. Authorities have not released additional details regarding the investigation or the events leading to the charges.
