A lab employee named Makoto Kuroda from the University of Wisconsin–Madison has been accused of tampering with his co-worker’s belongings. According to official reports, he allegedly mixed harmful chemicals into his colleague’s water bottle and even applied them to his shoes.
The situation came into notice on April 6 when campus police received a complaint. The affected employee said that he had been drinking from his water bottle earlier and left it on his desk.
