The incident took place on April 20 at a hotel in Key West, Florida. Police received an emergency call about a possible drowning involving a young girl. When officers reached the scene, they found that CPR was already being performed on the child.
At that moment, the parents were not present. According to reports, Alfred arrived shortly after, holding an alcoholic drink. The situation immediately raised concerns among emergency responders, as the child had been found unconscious and showing serious signs of distress.

Police say Alfred admitted that he had left his two children alone at a hot tub area while he went to the bar. His children, a 6-year-old boy and a 4-year-old girl, were reportedly unsupervised for several minutes.
During that time, the situation turned dangerous. The young girl was later found unconscious in the pool, while her brother had also swallowed pool water. This highlights how quickly accidents can happen, especially in areas like pools where constant supervision is critical.
