The data from Zumper covers all apartment sizes, including studios, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and up to four-bedroom units within Lafayette’s metropolitan area. This median rent figure reflects all active listings throughout the month, including newly built properties, but excludes those that are currently occupied or no longer available.
- One-Bedroom Apartments: These units were listed for a median price of $1,000, unchanged from February 2025. However, this represents a 9% decrease from March 2025, when they were listed for $1,104.
- Two-Bedroom Apartments: The median price for two-bedroom apartments was $1,200 in March, showing a slight increase from February’s price of $1,186. Compared to March 2025, the price has risen by 9% from $1,100.
When subsidized rental units are excluded, the overall median price for apartments listed in Lafayette is slightly adjusted to $1,332.
