A serious incident has been reported from Florida, where a man has been arrested after allegedly shooting a woman following an argument. The case has raised concerns due to the presence of children in the home and the suspect’s past criminal history.
What Happened During the Incident
According to police reports, officers were called to a property after receiving information about a gunshot linked to an argument between a man and a woman. When they arrived, they found a woman lying in the driveway with a gunshot wound to her neck. She was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment, but her identity has not been publicly released.
Suspect’s Attempt to Escape
The suspect, Robert Anthony Morgan, was found at the scene and allegedly tried to escape in a desperate manner. Reports say he attempted to crawl under a garage door and then jumped into a swimming pool.
Police officers quickly acted and pulled him out of the pool before taking him into custody.
Evidence Found at the Scene
During the investigation, authorities noticed a trail of blood on the street leading up to the driveway where the victim was found. Inside the garage, officers also recovered a rifle, which is believed to be connected to the shooting.
