Veronica Noble, 33, of Lafayette Parish, has been arrested and is facing multiple charges, including:

  • Possession of Schedule II controlled dangerous substances
  • Possession of a firearm in the presence of controlled dangerous substances
  • Possession of a firearm by a person convicted of certain felonies

Details of the Search and Seizure

According to the Lafayette Parish Sheriff’s Office, narcotics agents executed a search warrant at a home on South Riceland Drive near Toby Mouton Road in the Duson area. The search was part of an ongoing investigation into illegal drug activity.

During the search, agents discovered a variety of illegal narcotics, including approximately 1,400 fentanyl pills, 239 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 18.5 grams of fentanyl, 7 grams of methamphetamine, 50 dextroamphetamine tablets, 27 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, more than 30 unidentified pills, and a small amount of other prescription drugs.

Along with the drugs, agents also seized two shotguns and a handgun from the home.
