A fatal arson occurred late Wednesday night around 11:55 p.m. in Lewistown Borough, Pennsylvania. Firefighters responded to a blaze at a residence on Bratton Avenue, where 44-year-old Brandy Phillippe tragically died. She attempted to flee but was unable to escape the fire.
Injuries and Impact
Two other residents were injured. A man suffered severe facial injuries and burns after jumping from a second-floor window. A woman fell to the sidewalk from another window. Several cats in the house also died in the fire.
