Timothy Callender, 59, of Gonzales, Louisiana, pled guilty on November 18, 2025, to charges of Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile and Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile, Victim Under the Age of 13.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorneys Robin O’Bannon and Adam Koenig, with Judge Keyojuan Turner presiding over the matter.

Incident Details and Investigation

The case dates back to August 7, 2022, when Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Detectives were notified of a juvenile female victim who had been inappropriately touched by Callender.

After interviewing the victim and several witnesses, detectives uncovered multiple instances of lewd and lascivious conduct involving Callender and the juvenile. As a result, an arrest warrant was issued, and Callender was taken into custody and booked into the Ascension Parish Jail.

Guilty Plea and Deferred Sentencing

Following his arrest, Timothy Callender entered a guilty plea to the charges. Sentencing was deferred to a later date pending the completion of a Pre-Sentence Investigation.

On February 18, 2026, Timothy Callender was sentenced to 25 years in prison with the Louisiana Department of Corrections, with credit for time already served.
