Shocking footage captured three women being escorted out of Miami International Airport in handcuffs after they refused to pay for extra luggage and stormed onto a Philadelphia-bound flight. The trio, identified as Nafisa Dockery, Dionjana Cochran, and Davana Cochran, were arrested on charges of trespassing, resisting an officer, and battery.
The Incident at the Airport
The chaos began when the three women were preparing to board a Frontier Airlines flight. According to arrest reports, an employee noticed that the women had not paid for a second carry-on item and asked them to step off the line to pay the additional fee. When they refused, a verbal confrontation broke out.
Despite being warned by the airline employee that they would be removed from the flight if they didn’t pay the extra fee, the women continued to defy the request. Dockery, who was facing an additional battery charge, allegedly encouraged her friends to ignore the warning and pushed past security to board the plane through a restricted area.
The Escalation and Arrests
As the women continued to refuse to disembark, Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived at the scene. A Frontier Airlines manager requested that the women be removed from the plane, and their boarding passes were canceled. However, the trio refused to leave, and a struggle ensued when deputies demanded they put their hands behind their backs.
Dockery allegedly spat on another person during the confrontation, leading to additional charges. The situation escalated quickly, and eventually, all passengers were removed from the plane. Davana Cochran was seen twerking next to an officer while being escorted out.
Social Media Footage
The scene, which was filmed by other passengers, quickly went viral on social media. In the footage posted by @OnlyInDade, Davana can be heard shouting “I will beat you the f–k up” to a fellow passenger, who responds with “Enjoy prison, baby.” The three women were eventually taken to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center.
Flight Delay and Aftermath
As a result of the incident, the Philadelphia-bound Frontier flight was delayed by one hour. The trio faces multiple charges, including resisting arrest and battery, while the airport and airline staff dealt with the disruption caused by their actions.
This chaotic scene at Miami International Airport has become a reminder of the challenges that airline staff and passengers sometimes face with unruly travelers.
