Riverside Academy’s indoor track team competed in its first meet on Saturday, Jan. 7 at the Carl Maddox Fieldhouse at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. RA hasn’t had an indoor track team in nearly 20 years. This year’s team is coached by Craig LaBorde.

Freshman Kasey Bourgeois ran the 1600 Meter Run.

Sophmore Dedrick Lastie ran the 60 Meter Dash.

Junior Noah Trepagnier threw the Shot Put.

Senior Hunter Champagne ran the 60 Meter Dash.

Senior Scott White threw the Shot Put.

Hunter Champagne, Scott White, Cleveland Johnson, and Dedrick Lastie ran in the Boys 4×200 Meter Relay.

The team’s next meet will be on Saturday, Jan. 14 at the Bill and Lena Henning Track and Field Complex at McNeese State University in Lake Charles.
