Riverside Academy’s Class of 2024 continued the tradition of messing up the school the night before their homecoming football game. Various items, including straws, cups, toilet paper, plastic utensils, balloons, newspapers and thousands of Q-tips, were strewn through the hallways and classrooms to give students and faculty a fun surprise upon arrival. Also spotted were a paper mache alligator, a mattress, a bicycle and several holiday inflatables. Many of the desks ended up in the courtyard — even one in a tree. It was all done in good “clean” fun and under the strict supervision of principal Holly Haase. The seniors had to spend their first hour of the day cleaning it all up. Later in the morning a pep rally was held to fire everyone up for Friday night’s game against Country Day. Check out the gallery.
