Late-Night Incident at Cabin
Just before 1 a.m. on April 4, 2026, deputies from the McCurtain County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a shooting at a cabin in Broken Bow. Authorities later described the case as a “suspicious death,” prompting an investigation by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
Victim Found With Gunshot Wound
When deputies arrived at the scene, they found Braden Uhlmann suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a nearby hospital but later died from his injuries.
