Suspect Turns Himself In

Baton Rouge Police reported that 17-year-old Markell Lee has turned himself in and is now facing charges of first-degree murder, five counts of attempted murder, and illegal use of a weapon. Lee is currently being held at the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.

A second suspect has been identified but remains at large. Investigators have identified additional persons of interest, and more arrests may occur as the investigation progresses.

Victims Still Recovering

In addition to Odom’s tragic death, several others were injured in the shooting. 43-year-old Donnie Guillory remains in critical condition and is undergoing surgery.
