Baton Rouge, LA — The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Tuesday morning, May 5.
Fatal Shooting on Perkins Road
Officials say the incident happened around 2:10 a.m. at a convenience store located on Perkins Road near Myrtledale Avenue and I‑10.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man inside a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have officially identified the victim as 21‑year‑old Nolan Allen IV.
No Suspects Named Yet
At this time, authorities say they do not have a suspect in custody or a specific suspect in mind. The investigation is actively ongoing as detectives work to piece together what led to the shooting.
