Baton Rouge, LA — The Baton Rouge Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Tuesday morning, May 5.

Fatal Shooting on Perkins Road

Officials say the incident happened around 2:10 a.m. at a convenience store located on Perkins Road near Myrtledale Avenue and I‑10.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man inside a vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police have officially identified the victim as 21‑year‑old Nolan Allen IV.
