A tragic incident on Hollywood’s famous Walk of Fame has left a 37-year-old man dead after he was allegedly attacked by several individuals while trying to defend himself from a dog. Authorities say the victim, identified as Berry Henderson, was fatally stabbed following a confrontation that began when a dog reportedly chased and attacked him at a bus stop.
Man Dies After Alleged Group Attack in Hollywood
The incident occurred on May 20 near the Hollywood Walk of Fame in Los Angeles. According to investigators, Berry Henderson was standing at a bus stop when a dog suddenly attacked him.
Surveillance footage reviewed by police reportedly showed Henderson running away from the animal as it chased and bit him. In an attempt to protect himself, Henderson allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the dog.
What happened next quickly escalated into a deadly confrontation.
Dog Owner and Others Allegedly Confronted Victim
According to reports, after the dog was stabbed, a group of four men allegedly confronted Henderson. Authorities believe one of the men was the owner of the dog involved in the attack.
