A new fire station is set to open in Kenner, Louisiana, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for Monday, March 23. This marks the first new fire station built in the city since 2008, strengthening emergency response capabilities in the area.
A Milestone for Kenner
The opening of Fire Station #38 is a major step forward for the city. Mayor Mike Glaser expressed pride in the new station, stating that it is a result of the community’s support for a critical fire millage that funded the project. “This is about investing in public safety, supporting our firefighters, and continuing the momentum that is moving Kenner forward,” said Glaser.
