Pregnant Woman Reported Missing in Houston
Ashanti Allen, a 23-year-old woman from Houston, was last seen in early April 2026. Her family says she disappeared without warning, leaving behind many unanswered questions.
She was officially reported missing on April 10 after sending a strange message to her mother that raised immediate concern.
Suspicious Text Message Raises Alarm
Allen’s mother, Trisa Gaines Colbert, said she received a text from her daughter saying, “I’m leaving and never coming back.” This message did not feel right to the family.
When her mother went to check on her, she found that Allen was not at home. Her car was also missing, which made the situation even more serious.
Inside the apartment, her clothes and baby items were still there, which made the family believe she did not leave willingly.
Last Known Movements
According to reports, Allen was last seen leaving her apartment on April 8. Surveillance footage showed her leaving with another person, but authorities have not yet identified that individual publicly.
Police also confirmed that she was last seen in an SUV belonging to her mother. The vehicle was later found, but Allen was not with it. The person found with the car reportedly did not give clear answers about how they got it.
