A 41-year-old woman from Wisconsin, Tyiece Oninski, has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide after police say she stabbed her 14-year-old daughter to death.

According to officials, Oninski called emergency services on March 20 and said she had killed her daughter the night before. Instead of asking for medical help, she reportedly asked for a hearse. She also told the operator that she had tried to end her own life after the incident.

Police Investigation

Police reached the home in the Town of Turtle, where the girl lived with her mother and grandfather, and found the teenager dead with multiple stab wounds.

The victim has been identified in reports as Kuren Rein, aged 14. During questioning, Oninski told police she killed her daughter to “protect her from someone.” She later named Elon Musk as that person but did not explain why she believed he was a threat. Authorities confirmed there is no evidence linking Musk to the family or the crime.

Medical Findings

Reports say that at the hospital, tests showed Oninski had drugs in her system, including benzodiazepines, amphetamines, and THC. One report also claims she asked a deputy if her name was in the news and seemed disappointed when told it was not.

Legal Status

Oninski has been charged in Rock County Circuit Court, and the case is based on the criminal complaint and available evidence. Officials have not yet announced the date of her next court hearing.
