A 15-year-old boy was killed and another person remains in critical condition following a shooting on Wooddale Boulevard and Lobwood Drive in Baton Rouge on Wednesday, authorities confirmed.

Victim Identified

The East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner’s Office identified the teen killed as Tyruan Dunn, 15. Police said the second victim was taken to a hospital with life-threatening gunshot injuries.

First responders reported the shooting at approximately 5:30 p.m. near the intersection of Wooddale Boulevard and Lobwood Drive. Officers found Dunn on the roadway with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
