Alexandria Police have arrested a suspect in connection with a shooting that took place on Queens Court early Sunday morning.
Incident Details
Officers responded around 10:45 AM to the 3500 block of Queens Court following reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they found both the victim and suspect at the scene. The victim was treated at a local hospital for their injuries. Authorities have not released the victim’s identity or details about their condition.

60-year-old Jerry Phillips III was arrested and charged with aggravated second-degree battery. He was booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center, with bond set at $5,000.
