A shocking case in Houston, Texas, has emerged involving alleged child ab*se. A woman is behind bars, and her girlfriend is still on the run as authorities investigate severe injuries to two young children.

Texas Woman Arrested Over Child Ab*se

Jamesha Wilson, 30, has been arrested in Houston on multiple counts of child ab*se. She faces four charges of injury to a child by omission and five charges of intentional injury to a child. Her girlfriend, Kevonnisha Jones, also 30, is wanted by the police for similar offences.

Details of the Case

The allegations involve a 2-year-old and a 3-year-old. On 9th September 2025, paramedics were called to an apartment in the Sunnyside area of Houston. According to reports, Jones told the paramedic that she found one of the children on the unfinished floor but did not witness the fall.

The paramedic immediately noticed a serious head injury. The 3-year-old was rushed to a nearby hospital with an extensive brain bleed, broken bones, and marks from a belt buckle on her neck, torso, and thighs. Doctors suspected ab*se and contacted the Harris County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigation Reveals Possible Cover-Up

Wilson, the mother, said she left the children with Jones while she was at work and claimed she only knew what Jones had told her. Investigators found that both women had been texting and calling to coordinate what they would tell law enforcement about the injuries.

Injuries to the Younger Child

Doctors also examined the 2-year-old and found multiple bruises, fractures, and possible liver injury. Some fractures were in different stages of healing, indicating the child may have suffered prolonged ab*se.

Court Appearance and Bail

Wilson was arrested after months of investigation and appeared in court with her head down. She is currently held in the Harris County Jail on a $200,000 bond and is expected to appear again on 2nd July. Authorities are still looking for Jones.
